The 2.0-liter Audi CNCD 2.0 TFSI engine was assembled by a German company from 2012 to 2016 and was installed both on passenger models of the A4, A5 type, and on the Q5 all-wheel drive crossover. After the upgrade, such a power unit received an additional 5 hp and a new CNCE index.
The EA888 gen3 series includes: CJSA, CJSB, CJEB, CHHA, CHHB, CXDA, CNCD, CJXC.

Disadvantages of the Audi CNCD engine
- Most of the breakdowns of this motor are associated with a drop in oil pressure in the system;
- The cause is usually clogged bearing strainers or oil pump failures;
- There have been cases of piston cracking from detonation, replacing them with forged ones helps;
- Also here the timing chain is quickly pulled out and the phase control system fails;
- Many problems with the cooling system: a pump with a thermostat or valve N488 is leaking;
- From engine thrust failures, adjustment of the boost pressure actuator most often helps.
