The D9B380 delivers high low-rpm torque and excellent traction performance. Combined with a wide rpm range, it guarantees excellent driving performance and immediate availability. Also, the engine has low noise and exhaust emissions. Exhaust gas treatment with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology allows the engine to comply with Euro 4 standards.
A camshaft actuator located at the rear of the engine drives the power steering pump, oil pump, fuel pump and air compressor. This weight-saving design is very compact, quiet and durable. Thanks to the rear-mounted camshaft drive, the engine cooling system also provides better performance as the intake air flow is unobstructed.
