The 6-cylinder D7F260 engine displaces 7.2 liters, impressive torque, phenomenal power and instant accelerator response. Part of the D7F engine series, it delivers maximum productivity and profitability every workday.
These compact and lightweight engines are designed for trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 12 to 18 tonnes. One of the most powerful 6-cylinder engines on the market.
The Volvo D7F260 is equipped with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). It captures microscopic soot particles in the exhaust gases and then burns them out during the regeneration process, leaving only fine ash. This process is automatic, but if manual regeneration is required, for example in an ecologically clean area, you will receive an early warning.
