The D16G600 engine meets emission standards thanks to SCR technology, which injects AdBlue into the catalytic converter before exhaust gases enter the catalytic converter. The reagent reacts with nitrogen oxides, as a result of which the level of harmful emissions is significantly reduced. Thanks to the SCR system, the engine is approved in accordance with the Euro 5 emission standard.
The D16G600 comes with a Crank Case Ventilation (Closed) system. The blow-by gases in the valve cover are returned to the turbocharger through a centrifuge oil separator. The oil mist is separated in a centrifuge, which does not require maintenance or filter replacement. Thanks to gas recirculation, this system allows an extremely clean and low-emission engine to be obtained.
