The 3.3-liter Hyundai-Kia G6DM or 3.3 GDi engine has been produced by the concern since 2016 and is installed on Cadenza or Grandeur front-wheel drive sedans, as well as Carnival minivans. For K900 in some markets, this engine was adapted for rear-wheel drive and derated to 249 hp.

- Hyundai Grandeur 6 (IG) since 2017;
- Kia Cadenza 2 (YG) in 2016 – 2021;
- Kia Carnival 3 (YP) in 2018 – 2020;
- Kia K900 2 (RJ) since 2018.

Disadvantages of the Hyundai G6DM engine
- The main problem with GDi units is the formation of carbon deposits on intake valves;
- The aluminum motor is afraid of overheating, so keep an eye on its cooling system;
- It is not yet clear how long the timing chains will last, the resource was low on the predecessor;
- Hydraulic lifters are not provided here and valve clearances will have to be adjusted.
