Disadvantages of the Hyundai G3LA engine
- This unit is quite reliable and the main complaints are related to noise and vibrations;
- The motor is very afraid of overheating, so carefully monitor the cleanliness of the radiators;
- Gaskets tan from high temperature and grease begins to climb from all cracks;
- For active drivers, the timing chain can stretch to 100 – 120 thousand kilometers;
- Other weak points include the adsorber valve and short-lived engine mounts.
