The 1.5-liter Geely BHE15-EFZ turbo engine has been produced at a Chinese plant since 2021 and is installed on the restyled Coolray and local versions of the Icon or Atlas 2. This power unit was created as part of a joint venture with Volvo called Aurobay.

Disadvantages of the Geely BHE15-EFZ engine
- Chinese owners generally praise it and there are no serious complaints;
- All units with direct fuel injection suffer from carbon deposits on the intake valves;
- The timing chain drive is also very reliable and does not bother you on runs up to 200,000 km;
- Compared to its predecessor, the cost of consumables has increased slightly.
