The 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine Geely BHE15-AFD has been produced in China only since 2023 and is so far installed only on the fourth generation of the rather popular Emgrand 7 sedans. This power unit was created as part of a joint venture with Volvo called Aurobay.

- Geely Emgrand 7 4 (SS11) since 2023.
Disadvantages of the Geely BHE15-AFD engine
- On Chinese forums it is mostly praised and there are no serious complaints;
- Like all direct injection engines, it must suffer from carbon deposits on the intake valves;
- Unlike predecessors with a timing belt drive, there is a reliable chain;
- Some owners also note the higher cost of consumables.
