The 3.3-liter BMW M30B33 is a rare carburetor version of the M30 that was installed only in 1973-1975 in the long-wheelbase E3 3.3 L sedan.
It has an 89 mm bore and an 88 mm stroke, giving 3295 cc, and with carburetors produced 190 PS and 289 Nm. The rest of the design is the same as on other M30 engines: cast-iron block, aluminum 12-valve head and a chain-driven camshaft. Later the role of the largest M30 passed to the 3.4- and 3.5-liter M30B34 and M30B35.
