Engine Subaru EZ30

The three-liter EZ30 engine was the flagship engine of all large Subaru cars for a full decade (1999-2009). It replaced the EG33 and in turn was gradually superseded by the more modern EZ33. The power unit was designed from scratch, and did not become a revision of some old motor, which allowed the designers to initially introduce advanced systems and technologies.
