Disadvantages of the Mitsubishi 4A30 engine
- The aluminum block head often cracks from overheating or overtightening the bolts;
- With strong vibrations of the unit, most often it helps to replace one of its pillows;
- Some modifications of the motor are equipped with a turbine, the service life of which is short;
- Every 50,000 km, you need to adjust the valves, every 90,000 km, change the timing belt;
- After 100,000 km, oil burn begins due to wear of rings or valve seals.
