The 3.0-liter Hyundai D6JA or Genesis 3.0 CRDi engine has been produced by the concern since 2020 and is currently installed on the only Genesis model: the GV80 executive crossover. This engine is the first diesel R6 from a Korean company.

Disadvantages of the Hyundai D6JA engine
- While various electrical glitches are discussed on specialized forums and everything is treated with firmware;
- It is still not clear how the aluminum cylinder block will show itself at high mileage;
- As always expected typical problems with the particulate filter or the EGR valve.
