The Hyundai D6CC engine is an in-line 6-cylinder diesel engine with a volume of 12,300 cm3 and a power of 410 hp, there are modifications of the ecological class up to Euro-4. Fits on HD500 truck tractors and new Xcient (QZ) trucks.
The motors are distinguished by low maintenance costs, high-quality assembly and reliability. Engines of the D6CC series start without problems in the cold, as they are unpretentious in terms of fuel quality. The engine is equipped with an intake manifold heating system, which ensures uninterrupted operation in winter. Complies with European emission regulations.

Due to various factors affecting the power of the Hyundai engine, the air consumption is not the same. The turbocharger is a reliable, well-proven tool for precise air flow control. To obtain the required power, it is necessary to supply a strictly metered amount of fuel to a certain amount of air. To reduce the amount of toxic components in the exhaust gas, the developers of the D6CC engine increase the amount of air in the air-fuel mixture. Ideally low exhaust gas emissions are achieved when 20% more air than fuel enters the combustion chamber. It is possible to take into account all these factors, as well as reduce fuel consumption today, using high pressure electronic fuel injection.
