Mitsubishi Debonair is a Japanese luxury car in the body of a 4-door sedan from Mitsubishi Motors. Produced from 1964 to 1998. Translated, the name of the car means “polite / courteous.” Initially, the model was made only for the needs of the domestic market, for employees and staff of the company. The car was produced in three generations. In the 2nd and 3rd generations, the model was also released for the Asian market under the name Hyundai Grandeur.

The 2.6-liter Mitsubishi 4G54 or G54B gasoline engine was produced from 1978 to 1992 and was installed on the Pajero SUV, L200 pickup truck and a number of Chrysler cars. After the end of production in Japan, the motor was assembled by Chinese companies for quite some time.
