Disadvantages of the Mitsubishi 3G83 engine

  • The most famous problem of this motor is the oil burner due to the occurrence of rings;
  • The crankshaft liners rotate even from a short drive with a low oil level;
  • Keep the cooling system clean, it immediately breaks the gasket from overheating;
  • Check the condition of the timing belt more often, as it bends the valves when it breaks;
  • And the fuel system of the engine and its catalyst do not tolerate bad gasoline.
