The 4.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engine Audi DHVA was produced only from 2019 to 2020 and was installed on particularly powerful modifications of the popular Audi SQ8 4.0 TDI crossover. A similar engine was installed on the Audi SQ7 TDI under the designation DMVA and on the Audi A8 60 TDI as CVXB.

Disadvantages of the Audi DHVA engine
- On specialized forums, the motor is usually praised, but there are also complaints;
- Firstly, they note glitches in the operation of the turbocharging, which leads to traction failures;
- Cases of lubricant level surges with the appearance of a corresponding error are also described;
- The remaining engine problems are related to failures in the EGR, DPF and AdBlue systems.
