Dodge Shadow
The Dodge Shadow is an economy car manufactured by Chrysler. Manufactured from 1986 to 1994. Also known as Plymouth Sundance. In Mexico, the model was sold under the name Chrysler Shadow, and in Europe – Chrysler ES. The car was manufactured in body modifications of a 2-door convertible and a 3-, 5-door hatchback. The basic platforms were K-car and P-body. The car was produced in the USA and Mexico.
Dodge Shadow was equipped with four-cylinder gasoline engines of 2.2 and 2.5 liters with a capacity of 94-177 hp – both power units had atmospheric and turbocharged versions. Buyers could choose a five-speed manual or three-speed automatic transmission.
In 1991, a modification appeared with a Mitsubishi V6 3.0 engine developing 143 hp; for such cars, a four-speed automatic transmission was offered as an alternative to a mechanical one.
Production of the Dodge Shadow ended in 1994 and was replaced by the Dodge Neon.
