The 1.4 TSI engines of the EA211 series are equipped with a turbocharging system paired with an intercooler, which is installed in the intake manifold. Depending on the engine modification, different types of turbines are installed. The main advantage of the new series over the old one is the lower weight of the internal combustion engine and more economical fuel consumption.
